Truckee-Tahoe Lumber Company began with a single lumber yard in 1931. This family-owned business created a following built on exceptional customer service and community involvement.
Today, Truckee-Tahoe Lumber Company still sources the same high-quality wood products, while working to help develop and maintain environmentally sound practices alongside our core suppliers.
Lumber is available both naturally and in a reconstituted, engineered form (EWP). While some builders prefer solid sawn lumber, there are many applications that favor the use of engineered wood products. New technology continues to broaden the range of possibilities, and in many cases engineered wood outperforms natural wood in strength and durability while reducing waste.
