  • Contractors Association of Truckee Tahoe

CATT, the Contractors Association of Truckee Tahoe, was formed in 1998 by a few contractors in the Truckee-Tahoe region. These founders had two priorities: address the impacts of local agencies on the building trade and improve the overall professionalism within the industry. Through discussions, this small group realized that many other contractors were feeling the same frustrations.

Our Mission is to promote a positive business environment for the building and housing industry and enhance opportunities for its members and the community

  • Humane Society of Truckee Tahoe

The Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe is dedicated to saving and improving the lives of pets through adoption, community spay/neuter and humane education programs.

Founded in 1994 by a group of committed volunteers, the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe has become the driving force in animal rescue and adoption for the Truckee region.

Over time, we have grown from a small grass roots entity to a nationally recognized non-profit organization with ten employees and hundreds of dedicated volunteers. (Image Courtesy of Court Leve).

  • Truckee Bike Park

The Truckee Bike Park is a partnership between Biking for a Better World, Truckee-Donner Recreation & Park District, Truckee Tahoe Airport District, and Truckee Sanitary District. None of it would be possible without the support and efforts of volunteers. Each phase of transformation has been directly derived from fundraisers, your donations, and sponsorships. The first phase of building included the pump track and with each phase finished The Park gains a full variety of beginner to advanced terrain. The Park has been giving kids and adults a convenient, safe and well maintained place to ride since 2012. Stay tuned for upcoming fundraising opportunities for future projects.

  • Truckee River Watershed Council (Foriver)

Over the last 20 years we’ve managed more than 50 large-scale projects. We’ve improved 348 public and private green spaces. And mobilized over 472,000 gumboot-wearing volunteers, while raising $11.5 million in funding. It’s what we do—it’s our nature.

We think FORIVER sums up (with just seven characters) exactly what we believe: that together we can revive our watershed—so nature and humanity can thrive here for generations.

We work for the watershed. The watershed feeds the river. And we work to make the river resilient and vibrant for…well, forever.
